chicks and caterpillars come out of eggs and cocoons to become and live an adult life, only we humans want to often 'go into a shell' or 'be cocooned' and live a life we far outgrew!
Humans must be the only species that can 'choose' to refuse even the natural order of maturity and responsibility towards oneself and the world.
