what we choose to recollect...

every moment and instance and action
provides us multiple ways of perception, anticipation and response.
often everyone is not equipped / in the space to guide the response.
so, response emerges from the collective memory,

what emerges as collective memory.
history as a record of violence, death, destruction - either to celebrate
the victor or to exhibit the suffering of the victim - becomes a burden
on collective memory.
history of peaceful life, celebration, joyful times and plentitude
does seem to be in short supply always.
